Summary
The Hungarian Uprising was the first satellite state to uprise against the Soviets. The country declared that it was going to pull out of the Warsaw pact. The soviets rolled into the country with troops and tanks and killed 30,000 Hungarian people. While 200,000 of them fled the country. After taking over the Soviets installed a new leader, Janos Kadar who would remain in power for 20 years
