Summary
After Stalin died in 1953 he was replaced by Malenkov. He stays in power until 1955 when Nikitia Krushchev takes over. His first act as leader was to form the Warsaw Pact. He wanted less harsh treatment of the satellite states. He also tried to purge all of the Stalin supporter, he did this through a process called De-Stalinization.
